The BioLector XT microbioreactor with a light array module allows cultivation in a standardized photobioreactor, thus accelerating evaluation of diverse algae and cyanobacteria. Up to 48 parallel vessels in milliliter-scale support robust, real-time evaluation of biomass, fluorescence, and chlorophyll to share deeper insights into your bioprocess and strain research. Illumination spectra of 16 different LED types can be set and programmed to follow distinct patterns, e.g. a day-night-cycle. Homogeneous illumination of all cultivation wells ensure a high reproducibility and facilitate the creation of robust experiment data. New specifically developed filter modules allow the fluorescence-based online measurement of chlorophyll a/b, which is of vital importance for many algal applications.
